Leading the Learning in Early Years Schools

Education within early years programmes provide a foundation for children’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. In this course, school leaders will understand the essential requirements for addressing all the areas of children’s development within their schools. They will reflectively evaluate their current practices and address gaps in their practices. They will explore internationally recommended frameworks for Early Years education and adapt them to suit their unique local contexts. Key Learning Objectives: - Understand the psychology of young children (Ages 0 to 5) - Explore multiple Early Years curricula - Understand home-school partnerships - Understand safer recruitment and staffing requirements for early years learning environments.
